Express Yourself! "Friendship"

During my high school years, I learn something that makes my heart thump. It heals my heart from every single problem that I face every day. Friendship. My friends are my world. I really can't imagine a day without them. Only freaks have zero friend. Everybody in this world surely has friends and memories about friendship, right?

Express Yourself! "Lies"

We're searching for simplicity
We're searching for perfection

We?

No, you! just you yourself
I search neither for simplicity nor perfection
I'm searching for myself
Who am I?
What am I doing here?

The leaves might be saying goodbye
The flowers telling me to fly
The birds are ready to cry
My tears are also hoping to try
There's nothing else except bye bye
For me, for you, it's just a LIE.

Back to school!

Hi! I know it's a bit late, but I'd like to say this: Welcome back to school! I've been busy ever since the school reopened in January. There have been some changes to the school management: Pn. Masniwati is now the Head of English Panel while I'm currently holding the post of Head of Department for MUET. I will run the blog as usual and we welcome all kinds of materials provided that they are original.

For those who are waiting for the SPM results, I hope you are preparing yourselves for college or universty. Try to get information on courses available at local or international colleges and universities. You should also prepare yourselves for an interview. Click on the following links for interviewing tips:

By the way, we would be glad if you can share with us your experience during your looooong holidays.

Good luck to those who are going to sit for PKBS 1!

Watch and Write

Click on the link below and watch the video. Brainstorm the words or expressions that pop into your head when you watch the video.

For example, my students came up with expressions like "talented", "determination", "work hard", "be yourself", and "believe in ourselves". This will help you develop your paragraphs and you may finally come up with an interesting narrative or reflective essay.

To those who are going to sit for their SPM exam, I wish you the very best of luck!

I've always believed that learning is a life-long process. Do not only study for your exams...explore the world and try to get as much knowledge as you can.

"The best of all things is to learn. Money can be lost or stolen, health and strength may fail, but what you have committed to your mind is yours forever." -Louis L'Amour
